This is a little beginners/troubleshooting guide to get ventrilo working on your PC.

GETTING STARTED

To download ventrilo, visit this link if you're running Windows XP then you'll want to use the top link to download the program. Don't worry, it's completely free.

Download and install.

Run ventrilo.

In the ventrilo window there should be 3 drop down bars at the top. One called "User Name", one called "Server" and one called "Bindings".

First, click the right-pointing arrow to open the "setup user" window.

Click "New" and create a user of whatever name you want. Use the name of your main character in WoW though, it's less confusing to the other using vent.

Click OK and now in the vent main window, click the right-pointing arrow on the "Server" line.

This is where you enter all the server details. Click "New" and type in anything you want for the server name - it's only for your reference so call it "disciples" or something.

With that done, enter the details of the server itself.

Hostname or IP: ventrilo-6.clanplanet.co.uk
Port number: 3816
Password: squish

Leave the default channel blank.

Now click OK and click "Connect". Now you can hear all our sexy voices!

==========

Post any issues you may have with vent here and I'll do what I can to help out.
